Based on the field investigation and the understanding of demands from the related clients, the designers decide to create a design for a comprehensive villa clubhouse with multiple functions, such as sports/leisure, swimming/fitness, catering, parlor, chess room and tea room, etc., via new design, new technique and new material, based on the design concept of Deconstructivism + New Oriental Humanism. First, the visual tension within the interior space is highlighted via the staggered distribution of several blocks, with a unique style while delivering the special sense of design, sense of space, and transparency for modern architecture. Additionally, quality furniture with a neat layout will also upgrade the level of the work. Secondly, new oriental decoration selected, with the pendent or furnishing such as cloud/fog/mountain and pine/stone/lake, etc., shall offer the space with the content of humanism. In terms of overall tinge, undoubtedly, refined premium grey is the choice for the high-end application. With this premium grey as the dominant hue, and interspersed with metallic copper and acrylic plate for deconstructivism, as well as ink painting style bowlder for oriental humanism, individual and unique characteristic shall be maintained for each space while an integrated keynote is offered without excessive contrast. As for interior decoration materials, the designers select new materials such as bamboo steel plate, an independently developed material in China and fabricated under high temperature and high pressure, macromolecule inorganic terrazzo, low-voltage magnetic track light, and colorful transparent acrylic panel, etc., They follow current sustainable trends for energy saving, low carbon footprint and environment protection, contributing to environmental protection worldwide.
